​DOREEN THOMAS​
​
Miss Thomas studied under Elise Segas, after opening her own Dance & Drama Academy in 1957, her school and students have gone on to perform in various venues throughout Queensland. Miss Thomas was part of the founding board of EDTA and is also the choreographer for the EDTA European and Highland Syllabus.

Previously winning the Gold Medal of Australia for Drama and having the only Australian Dance School to be represented in the Ethnic presentation at the Commonwealth Games. Currently, Miss Thomas is the co-owner of a Theatre Restaurant, encouraging young talent through plays and musical theatre.

​STAN HENDERSON​
​
Mr Henderson began Ballet training with Misha Burlakov in Sydney, further studying with Valentin Zegovsky and Leon Kellaway. He graduated to Principal Dancer with the first Australian Ballet Company. He travelled overseas in 1949 to dance in Buenos Aires (Colon Opera House) then to Paris performing with Les Ballets Montmartre. He joined the FJB Theatres as resident Choreographer and Principal Dancer.

Stan completed Drama training with the Guildhall in London. He taught at the Hampshire School of Speech and Dram and Pinelands College. Returning to Australia in 1956, he opened a Theatre School and has directed a vast number of Play's and Musicals and worked with Opera students at the Canberra School of Music. Mr Henderson constructed the Drams Syllabus for EDTA (Henderson Technique).
